The hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms were just alright; luckily, I had two heaters, although one was broken. Cleanliness could use some serious improvements, especially with dust and spider webs. On the bright side, there's a small terrace where you can enjoy breakfast in the Summer.

The rooms were just okay, but having two heaters saved the day. Cleanliness needs some serious attention, especially with dust and spider webs. The small terrace was a nice touch for Summer breakfasts.
Service
6.0
Service was a bit slow; it took ten minutes to get served as the staff were quite busy. There were some hiccups with charges, but they made up for it with a free bottle of water. On a positive note, they unlocked the window so we could enjoy the cool night air and take photos of the fortress.
Location
7.0
The location is a mixed bag. On one hand, it's right by the river and close to the center with lovely views. But be prepared for some long walks. Next to the river and a charming weinstube nearby.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a bit of a letdown. While the selection was good, it came at a high price. The quality was decent overall, but the value for money wasn't there.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities need to be more organized. Room service, valet parking, welcome drink, pet amenities, and happy hour were available but could use better coordination.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While I initially faced issues with a smoky room, the staff promptly moved me to a beautiful room on the top floor with a stunning view of the Fortress. The lack of decoration was a downside, but the complimentary mini bar with drinks was a nice touch.

The dining experience was fantastic, with a variety of options. The rooms were comfortable, especially with the individually controlled air-conditioner.

My stay at Mercure Koblenz was pleasant overall. The rooms were a bit tired and could use a renovation, but they were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the lack of a water kettle or coffee machine was a downside for me. The service was friendly and helpful, although I did encounter some issues with the room temperature. The dining experience was good with a nice selection, but the extra charge for certain items was a bit excessive. The hotel facilities were adequate for my needs.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms at Mercure Koblenz were a little tired and in need of a renovation. They were clean and comfortable, but the heating was too small for such a big room, and the blanket wasn't thick enough for winter.
Service
8.0
The service at the hotel was friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, there were some issues with inattentive individuals at times, and I had to cope with an overheated room due to a missing staff response.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is convenient, being close to the Rhein, the 'DreiLänderEck,' and the Old Town of Koblenz. It's easy to walk to these areas through safe surroundings, although the proximity to the highway may not suit everyone.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience at Mercure Koblenz was satisfactory with a good selection, but the extra charge for certain items, like tea and coffee, was too high. Additionally, noise from traffic limited the ability to open windows.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers standard facilities such as room service, valet parking, a welcome drink, pet amenities, and a happy hour. However, the absence of a water kettle or coffee machine in the rooms could be improved.
